Cappadocia Horseback Riding Tour (3 nights /4 Days)

Program:
Day 1/ Avanos — Sarihidir — Saruhan — Devrent — Musatafapaşa
Meet up with the horses at the equestrian centre and start the day riding along the banks of the Red River, passing through the village of Sarihidir and the Saruhan Caravanserai, built in the 13th century. Cross the 'fairy chimneys' of Devrent and on to Bozdag, offering panoramic views of the area. Finish the day riding through valleys and vineyards to the village of Mustafapasa, and ancient Greek village with charming architecture. Stay overnight in the village. (6 hrs riding. Lunch & dinner)
Day 2/ Lac Damsa — Keshlik Monastery — Golgoli — Mustafapaşa
We will start riding from Mustafapasha to Keshlik Monastery passing from Damsa Lake which offers a beautiful landscape view over a wild nature. The visit of the monastery from the 13th centuary will be an interesting break for visit. Then, we will ride from the ancient site of Golgoli before finishing our day (5hrs riding. Breakfast, lunch & dinner)
Day 3/ Ayvalı — Ibrahimpasha — Gümüşlü — Üzengidere — Mustafapaşa
Through the vineyard and far away villages of Cappadocia, we will pass from Ayvali Village and Ibrahimpasha which were old greek villages. We will ride through the valleys of Gumuslu and Uzengidere where we will see pigeon houses carved on the wall. Back to Mustafapasha (5 hrs riding. Breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Day 4/ Ortahisar Valley — Red Valley — Rose Valley — Avanos
The itinerary of our last day of riding will show us the best parts of the rock formations in Cappadocia. We will ride through Ortahisar Valley to reach the magnificient landscape view of the Red and rose Valley. We will continue by Love Valley which has typical fairy chimneys formations in a beautiful white background. We will turn back to our farm by Avanos to finish our trail. (6 hrs riding. Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 1/
Arrival at Kayseri/Nevsehir Airport and Transfer to Your Hotel in Cappadocia.
Day 2/ Avanos Horse Center – Sarihidir – Bayramhadji – Mount Ziyaret – Avanos
Departure from the hotel after breakfast. Meet the horses at the equestrian center and take a short warm-up ride along the banks of the Red River to Lake Bayramhaci. We will pass through the village of Sarihidir and return through the vineyards of Mount Ziyaret to finish in Avanos. (5 hours). Overnight in Avanos. B, L, D.
Day 3/ Avanos – Chayaghil – Baglidere (Love Valley) – Uchisar
Departure towards Uchisar. After passing through the small canyon of Çayagil, we will continue to the Valley of Love, with its “fairy-tale” wonders. We will finish in Uchisar, a huge rocky outcrip for a panoramic view. Overnight in Uçhisar. (5 hours). B, L, D.
Day 4/ Zemi – Kiliclar – Red Valley- Rose Valley – Uzumlu Church – Karankemer – Uchisar
We enter the most beautiful Cappadocian valleys with their multicolored lunar shapes: the Valley of Kiliçlar, the Red Valley, and many others, to admire the varied landscapes created by volcanoes and erosion. Lunch on the terrace next to the Uzumlu chapel will let us experience Turkish hospitality. Return to our accommodation through the KaranKemer Valley. Overnight in Uçhisar. (5.5 hours). B, L, D.
Day 5/ Ibrahimpasha – Gomeda Valley – Uzengidere – Mustafapaşa Village
We venture into a less-known Cappadocia by classic travelers. The village of Ibrahimpacha (also called Babayan) still retains its agricultural aspect. We continue towards Gomeda and Uzengi, valleys with immense pigeon houses. We will end our day in Mustafapaşa, an old Greek village that has preserved an authentic character. Night in Mustafapaşa. Day 6/ Mount Avlak – Damsa Lake – Golgoli Ruins – Keshlik Monastery – Mustafapaşa
This day offers total change and diversity. This hike takes us to another image of Cappadocia. Through plateaus and valleys, we will pass by the fairy chimney formations of the Golgoli site. A trail will take us to the Keşlik Monastery, where we will have lunch and then visit the rock monastery. Return to Mustafapaşa via a trail that overlooks the entire valley. Night in Mustafapaşa. Day 7/ Pancarlik – Monastery Hospital – Bozdag – Devrent – Saruhan – Avanos
Every day and every moment has its uniqueness in Cappadocia. Through the Pancarlik Valley and a monastery that was once a hospital, we will take a path to admire an impressive view of the Rose Valley. Then, we will transition to the Devrent Valley, now called the Valley of Imagination, to arrive at the 13th-century Saruhan Caravanserai, built by the Seljuks. We will then follow along the Red River to return to the stable. Night in Avanos (5.5 hours). B, L, D.

Day 1/
Arrival at Kayseri/Nevsehir Airport and Transfer to Your Hotel in Guzelyurt.
Day 2/ High Church - Monastery Valley – Sivrihisar Path – Red Church
Departure from the hotel after breakfast. Meet the horses at the equestrian center and take a short warm-up to the High Church located on a Hill that has a wonderful view point on Old Karballa and the Mount Hassan. We will continue by the Monastery valley to clim up to Sivrihisar village. In a wild nature among the volcanic ground, we will reach in nowhere the Red Church (5 hours). Overnight at Camping at Red Church. B, L, D.
Day 3/ Tchardak Village – Kitreli – Yenipinar – Eghrikuyu Camp
The Second Day of Riding, we will follow the Melendiz Mountain. We will pass from Kitreli, a historical Greek Village called Ilemi at the corner of Melendiz. Then going through Yenipinar where the shepherds used to bring their sheep to water in that area. Then finally we will reach our camp in Eghrikuyu on the corner of Mt hassan (3268m). (5 hours). Day 4/ The plateau of Sarnich - Mokyssos – Ihlara
We leave Mt Hassan and go in a very authentique direction. We’ll pass from the water cisterns in Sarnich and folow with Mokyssos (or Helvadere today) which was a Roman Military Basement from the 6th centuary to control the passage from Anatolia to Jerusalema. We will take our picnic in here and continue to Ihlara. Actually this canion is 14km long and lived by the christian community to hide from persecution very long time ago. We will camp on the river side. (5 hours). Overnight at Camping in Ihlara.
Note: The 1st part of Ihlara is not accesible with the horses. B, L, D.
Day 5/ Ihlara 2nd part – Selime Monastery – Uzunkaya (Sikinos) – Tcheltek
We will enter in Ihlara Canion, an amazing gorge in a depth of 150/200 m partially, and ride through it following the Melendiz River. We arrive at Selime Monastery. This is probably the biggest monastic village all around Cappadocia. We will have a break here to visit it and continue our ride to Uzunkaya and Tcheltek. Overnight in Camping at Tcheltek. Day 6/ Kizilkaya – Ashiklihoyukh – Alanyurt Castle – Borasan
We continue our ride in this historical trail. Ashiklihoyuk is the 1st in the world to be a mass residential area dating from 10.000 years ago. Then after, we will continue by Alanyurt, which has a caracteristic to be a rock carved castle. We will finish in Borasan where we will set our camp. (5 hours) B.L.D
Day 7/ Akyamach – Upper Crater Lake – Sivrihisar – Guzelyurt
